Scenic SundayPlease visit Scenic Sunday for more great pictures from around the world.

These are taken on a recent trip with my daughter to Shipshewana, Indiana. There are many Amish people living in the area. The sights are beautiful. There is wonderful shopping and a chicken dinner that you will never forget. It is a nice place to visit, especially for handmade items, such as furniture, bakery and much more.

Have a good week. Anne

When I went to pick up Maggie, I saw lots of their buggies. My friend that had her lived deep in Amish country.

We had a group of Amish from Indiana build our barn. They do amazingly fast and good work.

I like the gazeebo picture, the first photo. It's very relaxing to stay in there and have some fun with Coffee.

Anne please take care of yourself.

Delightful scenic shots of the Amish community. My sister and her husband have visited several communities like this one in their RV travels and speak highly of what they've encountered. Thanks so much for your visit to Happily Retired Gal. I'm new to Scenic Sunday and after posting them, I wasn't sure whether or not the State Fair photos qualified as 'scenic' since most folks share natural wonders.
Hugs and blessings,

Looks a very beautiful place. Love the gazebo. And your background photo of the cupcakes, makes me drool!

We have a large Amish community in nearby Pennsylvania and it's always a pleasure to visit. We're also lucky to have an Amish market right here near us, and we do love to go and stock up on their sausages! The hubcap says their almost as good as English bangers.

That is a really beautiful place, I love those buggies. It is definitely scenic.

I was here last night and as I was getting ready to leave a comment I lost the connection. It seems our ISP decided it would be a good time to shut down for servicing.
